Price was right. Time was right. Decision was right. For years I cut my own hair weekly (and sometime my sons' when they gave in or I forced the issue) with inexpensive off-the-shelf clippers - never quite fully satisfied with the results but it beat the time and cost of a professional barber-cut. With the addition of the 00000 blade - purchased separately, I couldn't be happier with the results.They cut quicker and cleaner than the cheapos of my past. My two-year old even let me trim his hair with minimal fuss.They do get warm but so far not so that it is uncomfortable. If you cut your own hair or others you will appreciate this in your hands.Opened these clippers, that are supposed to come with not 1or 2 blades, but 3, as a bonus and there is not 1 blade in the entire box. Not even on the clippers themselves. It is very clear that someone has attempted to use these, as there is grime and oil all in the grooves of the handle. The cord was dangling around in the box. I am blown away someone would ship this mess out to someone, #1 with no blades and #2 being used. If you want to overpay for someone else's junk and have to buy your own blades, this is for you. The description is not accurate and someone needs to correct this.I've been cutting my two boys hair since they were babies. Wanted to upgrade from my department store bought Wahl clippers to something better quality. This is the same clippers that my barber uses. Very well made, blade changes are easy, and the cuts clean & evenly. Well worth the price, solid investment that will last for years to come.Oster Classic 76 clippers seems to be okay. Haven't used it yet but it came with 1,2, 000 blades. The no. 2 blade was not the oster brand.When I opened the box, I realized that the clipper was used! It had grime in the handle and grime in the blade area. Upon further inspection, I realized the box has a sticker on it that says "FACTORY REFURBISHED - 90 DAY WARRANTY". I thought I was buying NEW as the listing - which I just re-read - said nothing of it being refurbished and the listing says it has a 1-year warranty! To make matters worse, it comes with generic blades, not Oster brand. Upon filling out their return slip, I realized they're making ME pay for return postage when its THEIR mistake! How is that right? Definitely avoid this product from this seller at all costs.I ordered it because of their bonus 3 blades of package.I received clippers, it should be new, but clipper was in placed without any plastic wraps and #2 blade is not Oster brand, genetic, made in Taiwan. I called the seller, they say #2 blade is genetic, they works fine. I wish that they should mention it clear on their item descriptions. If I knew I could order from another seller.I didn't know what cutting through butter was like until I used these!This is the one to purchase if you want something that does the job and will probably last a lifetime. Not as noisy as other reviewers might suggest. Blades and combs are very easy to attach.Amazing machine. Wish I bought it sooner. Works great and fast.
