As a new dog owner I have noticed how much of a pain it is to schedule nail clippings for pets. I thought an at home nail clipper would be a waste of time and money. However, the time spent trying to schedule and look for shot records seemed to out weigh this decision. Oh my goodness am I happy I purchased these nail clippers. Cookie (my Jack russell terrier) was very calm and this process was so smooth. The light, which I did not know was needed, is a great touch. Because I am a new dog owner I didn't know I had to look out when cutting her nails. I have had this for 2 weeks and only used it once. I can't wait to cut her nails again. Thank you for the cute box and free gift. PS she went crazy on the package and actually tried to open it before I did. Was there like dog nip used on the package or something? She only tried to open the nail clippers for her and nothing else.Most of the dog clippers I find at the local pet stores are made of poor quality, But this is the first pair of dog clippers that has everything you need! A nice feel when you open them (well made), a nail file that you pull out if you desire to file your dogs nails, a locking mechanism, and a light that turns on and off, so that you can see where the pink nerve endings begin on the dogs nails. If someone could come up with a way to silence the clip when I cut the dogs nails, that would be great, because my dogs get scared when they hear the sound of me clipping their toenail. But it’s the best pair of dog clippers I have found so far. Thanks!This product is amazing for my 14 week old American Bully dog. However, my two cats were unable to benefit from the tool because it is simply too large to fit in the small space required to maneuver for trimming their nails. This isn't much of a problem since we have another smaller trimmer for them, but I would NOT recommend this tool for cats. Otherwise, this is a very novel and well made tool.Game changer! I can finally trim at home without being afraid of hurting my pups. I returned those and bought these. These clippers have the light on the opposite side of the nail, and you can actually see the nail! Amazing! The holder that keeps the nails while you are clipping is a great bonus too! Will never use any other clippers than these! Superior design, and super cute packaging too! Love these!!! Finally not afraid to clip my dogs’ nails.I really like the light but wished it had a magnifying lens but it worked great on my puppy.If your dog has black nails then you know what a struggle it can be cutting them at home. I'm lucky enough that Zeppelin TOLERATES it, that is until I accidentally cut a quik. Long story short I've been trying to cut his nails short over a period time and it's been a struggle. My main issue is that I wasn't getting close enough to the quik each time in order for it to shrink back because I was too scared of cutting him-thus making very little progress. These have single handily solved that issue. I am able to cut right to the quik as the light acts as a guide, and in a couple of weeks his nails are short. I only need to maintain them now and let's just say we are both happy ?Just some pros- It has a good blade that doesn't crumple his nails like some of the others that I have tried which is a bonus!- Rechargeable- Easy to handle/maneuver- Super fast shippingThe only thing that doesn't really do much for me is the nail catcher/holder. His nails are super large so it would fill up after one clipping so I just keep it open.This is a very nice nail cutter. It is sharp enough to go thru the nail without too much pressure. The light is angled well and helps so much to see where you should cut.First of all...the scarf was BEAUTIFUL!but the blade was dull and did not cut easily. Also made quite the popping sound when cut, my dog was very anxious about it. I usually don't have any problems cutting her nails. Light was nice...after I figured out the best way to hold so it didn't blind meExcellent clippers. Easy to use very sharp and quiet.
