OsterĀ® Professional blades are produced from the finest high-carbon steel and handcrafted to our rigorous standards, providing unparalleled precision and performance. Furthermore, our U.S. made blades are hardened to RC62-66 (Rockwell Scale C) in-house prior to receiving a cryogenic treatment which further enhances the hardening process. These blades are amazing! I am not a barber by any means and my son's hair always looked embarrassing after i gave him his haircut..but because he's autistic it's difficult to take him to the barber shop..so i remembered my barber used to use the oster 76 classic machine for my hair so i got one and man let me tell you!! Best decision ever! I watched a few videos on YouTube and ordered some extra blades and everyone is shocked that I'm the one still cutting his hair! These blades are amazing and he doesn't move or complain that they are too loud! I can fade his hair super easy with these blades.GreatThe blade does not even cut anything.. Very disappointed.PerfectI bought this blade back in 2013 and have several other Oster blades going back to 2011. Every one of them is still cutting great, although I am just cutting my own hair, so that won't relate directly if you're a professional and using these day after day. For use at home, though, these are going to hold up. I do brush mine off after every use and oil them. After buying my first professional clipper (an Oster Classic 76), I was hesitant to buy many metal blades because I thought that they'd be less comfortable than the plastic adapters that I'd been using. I couldn't have been more wrong! If you're new to these blades like I was, I find the edges of the teeth on these to be more rounded and MUCH more comfortable. I have never once felt like I was gouging myself with these, whereas I had done that with plastic attachments. The other reason I hesitated was the cost, as these are normally in the $20-$30 range for a single length. Once I spent the money, though, I've never regretted it. These are fantastic blades that cut great and hold up very well.Assuming that these are as well made as the ones that I bought back in 2013, I absolutely recommend them.Highly recommend SellerLow quality cuts clippersLove my purchaseBrilliant service A+++++++With my hair thinning, my barber recommended that I start getting a short haircut using a number 1 clipper blade. This looked better than my prior haircuts, but with such short hair I needed far more frequent cuts. After a few years of paying $20 for a cut every 10 days or so, I decided to purchase the Oster Classic 76 and try cutting my hair myself. I wish I had done this years before. It's easy to do, I can do it in just a few minutes anytime I want without having to leave the house, and the only cost is the initial investment in clippers and blades and the ongoing small cost of cleaner and oil. If you cut your hair every few days, you always look neat and, just as nice, the cut doesn't leave much hair on the bathroom floor so the clean-up is no big deal. The Oster Classic 76 comes with a 000 blade and a #1 blade. Though my barber had been using a #1, the Oster #1 (2.4 mm) seemed a bit too short. I purchased a 1.5 (4.0 mm), but that seemed a little long. The 1A (3.2 mm) is the perfect length for me. Odd that 0.8 mm makes a noticeable difference, but it does. If you're a perfectionist you may need to experiment with a few blade sizes to get what's right for you, and that adds to the initial cost, but compared to weekly cuts at the barber it's still a tremendous savings. This was a great price for excellent Oster blades , they also arrived quickly. Works well for barbering. The 1A is excellent for men who like short hair, the 1A is easier to blend then a 1.Product is original and works awesome !Can't beat the haircut you get using removable blade style clippers.Great quality blade. Cuts smoothly and obviously well made, but no 5 star rating because they do not ship it with a blade guard, it should have one to protect it, and the price is high enough to justify the guard being included. Just saying
